This hands-on session is perfect for: \n\nExpecting parents\nThose seeking a refresher on labor coping techniques\nPartners/support people looking to be actively involved during labor\n\nWhether it’s your first birth or not\, this class provides useful tools and supportive strategies for a more confident and comfortable birth experience. \nIn this 2-hour class\, you’ll learn: \n\nRelaxation and meditation practice\nBreathing techniques for labor\nPositions to support labor and birth\nHow to use a birth ball\, rebozo\, and other tools\nMassage\, counter-pressure\, and acupressure\nHands-on comfort measures\nTechniques for managing back labor\nVisualization\, vocalizing\, and movement\n\nCome with your support person and learn how to work together as a team during labor. \nNo prior experience is necessary—just bring an open mind and a willingness to practice. \nPlease bring to class: \n\n75 cm exercise/yoga ball ALREADY INFLATED\nTwo bed pillows\nA mat or towel for breathing and relaxation practice\n\nThis class is also included as part of our 4-week Childbirth Series and the 1-day class.
