These insightful classes are facilitated by oncology nurse navigators. \nIn this class\, you will: \n• Meet your navigator and learn about cancer support services available to you\n• Hear about pre-surgery instructions and your pre-admit appointment\n• Receive education in rehabilitation and lymphedema\n•Have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about treatments\, including chemotherapy\, biotherapy\, immunotherapy\, radiation therapy and clinical trials \nFor more information and to register\, call 775-982-7787 or visit renown.org/event. \nNote: 18y+ only. Regain Your Confidence. \nThe BOSS program is a specialized\, therapist-led exercise and recovery program designed to help individuals prepare for treatment\, support healing after treatment and safety return to daily activity. Led by licensed Physical Therapists\, this program focuses on improving mobility\, strength and overall wellness during every stage of recovery. \nWHO CAN JOIN\nIndividuals currently undergoing or recovering from breast cancer treatment seeking a safe and supportive way to regain strength and mobility. Exercises are adapted for each participant’s current range of motion\, treatment stage and symptom profile. \nPlease note: Medical clearance and a completed referral form from a member of your breast cancer treatment team are required prior to participating in the Breast Oncology Strength and Stamina (BOSS) Program
