DESCRIPTION:Join Dr. Michael Elliott and Dr. Martin Morrison for a hands-on workshop. Learn the key principles\, pearls and pitfalls in splinting pediatric patients by healthcare professionals. Humans have been splinting their injuries since 1300 B.C.\, and although fundamentals have not changed\, splint selection and application require some thoughtful consideration\, especially with our pediatric patients. Several techniques for splinting will be addressed during the workshop.
