DESCRIPTION:This class is for anyone who has undergone or is undergoing breast cancer treatment and will focus on lymphedema education and reducing the risk of its occurrence. \nDuring the class\, we will review the basic anatomy of the lymphatic system and define common procedures performed during the treatment course for breast cancer that affects lymphatics. Risk reduction strategies\, including compression sleeves\, will be reviewed in addition to the typical presentation of early lymphedema. \nFinally\, a brief description of Axillary Web Syndrome will also be reviewed\, and basic stretches/exercises to implement if cording is present.

DESCRIPTION:Ticket includes partner. \nThis class is designed for expectant parents and caregivers to gain knowledge based on current research and recommendations that promote infant health and wellness. Participants will learn essential newborn care\, including hospital tests and procedures\, newborn health and safety\, comforting techniques\, and more. The class also includes hands-on practice with diapering and swaddling. \nTo attend\, please register using the expecting mother’s name and information. \n  \n \nWaiting List \nThere is a waiting list for this class.
