Led by licensed Physical Therapists\, this program focuses on improving mobility\, strength and overall wellness during every stage of recovery. \nWHO CAN JOIN\nIndividuals currently undergoing or recovering from breast cancer treatment seeking a safe and supportive way to regain strength and mobility. DESCRIPTION:Ticket includes partner. \nThe Spinning Babies® Parent Class is designed for expecting moms after the 20th week of pregnancy. This class highlights rotating the baby down and out of the pelvis. \nTurning (spinning) is referred to as fetal rotation and descent. During labor\, the baby must rotate and descend through the three levels of the pelvis to be born. Without this movement on the baby’s part\, vaginal birth is not possible. \nThe Spinning Babies® Parent Class Parent Class provides: \n\n 3-4 hours of instruction and practical application\n Essential daily activities to give you greater ease in pregnancy and help give baby space to move and settle into the correct birth position.\n Balance techniques to prepare and maintain your body in a balanced\, supple\, and flexible condition for birth.\n Birth positions specific to the three levels of the pelvis as solutions when labor doesn’t move forward in a typical pattern.\n\nThe day of class requirements- \n\n· Support person required (significant other\, friend\, mom etc.)\n· Wear comfortable clothing.\n· Bring a large exercise/ yoga ball (65-75cm) ALREADY INFLATED\, two pillows (bed pillows okay)\, and a large towel or yoga mat.\n\nOur certified Parent Educators are not allowed to train other birth work or bodywork professionals in Spinning Babies®\, nor allow non-pregnant professionals to audit their class. DESCRIPTION:Ticket includes partner. \nThe Spinning Babies® Parent Class is designed for expecting moms after the 20th week of pregnancy. This class highlights rotating the baby down and out of the pelvis. \nTurning (spinning) is referred to as fetal rotation and descent. During labor\, the baby must rotate and descend through the three levels of the pelvis to be born. Without this movement on the baby’s part\, vaginal birth is not possible. \nThe Spinning Babies® Parent Class Parent Class provides: \n\n 3-4 hours of instruction and practical application\n Essential daily activities to give you greater ease in pregnancy and help give baby space to move and settle into the correct birth position.\n Balance techniques to prepare and maintain your body in a balanced\, supple\, and flexible condition for birth.\n Birth positions specific to the three levels of the pelvis as solutions when labor doesn’t move forward in a typical pattern.\n\nThe day of class requirements- \n\n· Support person required (significant other\, friend\, mom etc.)\n· Wear comfortable clothing.\n· Bring a large exercise/ yoga ball (65-75cm) ALREADY INFLATED\, two pillows (bed pillows okay)\, and a large towel or yoga mat.\n\nOur certified Parent Educators are not allowed to train other birth work or bodywork professionals in Spinning Babies®\, nor allow non-pregnant professionals to audit their class. SUMMARY:Lymphedema Education and Risk Reduction Class
DESCRIPTION:This class is for anyone who has undergone or is undergoing breast cancer treatment and will focus on lymphedema education and reducing the risk of its occurrence. \nDuring the class\, we will review the basic anatomy of the lymphatic system and define common procedures performed during the treatment course for breast cancer that affects lymphatics. Risk reduction strategies\, including compression sleeves\, will be reviewed in addition to the typical presentation of early lymphedema. \nFinally\, a brief description of Axillary Web Syndrome will also be reviewed\, and basic stretches/exercises to implement if cording is present.

Led by licensed Physical Therapists\, this program focuses on improving mobility\, strength and overall wellness during every stage of recovery. \nWHO CAN JOIN\nIndividuals currently undergoing or recovering from breast cancer treatment seeking a safe and supportive way to regain strength and mobility.
